Many architects engineers and designers of green homes come to us with a plan or a schematic design for a net zero or passive House in hand. We are able to quickly help them determine if SIPs or ICFs are a good fit for the project. Sometimes we are able to do the entire envelope with SIPs. For other projects, they work well only for walls or for the roof system. If SIPs are a good way to increase energy efficiency, we can give them a budget number, for the materials,usually within a day or two.
